From 26 to 29 September 2019 110 galleries from 26 countries presented their artists and programs in the Marx Halle and offered a unique insight into the vibrant contemporary art scene.

ZONE 1, Explorations, VIDEO and DUO and a special show Focus: NSK State in Time.

This year’s Focus section revolved around the question: “What is the understanding of a state that is not based on territory but in time?” Based on the phenomenon “NSK State in Time”, curator Tevž Logar questioned the notion that art is represented in the realm of a nation-state.

A comprehensive supporting program, including Talks, special Guided Tours and a Family Program, provided a gateway to the thriving international art scene with focus on the CEE countries, and provided its visitors with an overview of the latest trends and developments in contemporary art.
