New Gallery in Vienna
A Warm Welcome to Galerie Roberta Keil

The contemporary art scene in Vienna welcomes a new player with Galerie Roberta Keil.
After a successful series of pop-ups in Vienna and Berlin, curator Roberta Keil is returning to her hometown, Breite Gasse 12 in Vienna, with a permanent space. The opening will take place on March 8, 2025 with the group exhibition “too much heat”, which will show works by artists living in Vienna and Berlin.
A vision for dialog and connection
Keil sees her space as a platform for international artistic exchange that promotes connections between generations, cultures and disciplines and places a strong curatorial focus on socially relevant topics.
After completing her master’s degree in art history at the University of Vienna and extensive international experience, for example in the Media and Performance Art Department of the MoMA in New York, at the Whatiftheworld Gallery in Cape Town, at viennacontemporary and at the renowned Grisebach auction house, Keil is now looking forward to applying her theoretical knowledge, curatorial experience and knowledge of the art market as a gallery owner.
While the Vienna location will be the heart of her gallery, she plans to continue hosting pop-ups in Berlin, further promoting the dialog between the two art centers.
We warmly welcome Galerie Roberta Keil!
